Nimo

by

A month ago, almost exactly, my old HP laptop gave up the ghost. I liked it quite a bit but it did not have a backlit keyboard and my eyes are working kind of, shall we say, poorly. I could no longer see the keys in low light and a new HP laptop of the same quality cost around $1500.00+. Well, being as I am not doing now what I was doing back then, figuring out code to install websites, I decided I would shop around a little before forking over that kind of money. That was an experience, as there must be a gazillion brands and types of laptops out now.

While I was shopping, on Amazon of course, Lord knows I’m not going to get into my Jeep and go to the mall, I came across a relatively new brand called, Nimo. I had no idea what it was but the prices were fantastic. They have a range of around ten models the highest priced being the Ryzen 9 model. I thought about that model, could not justify that cost, and went for the N177 R7-8745HS Laptop model.

I got the one that is black with the fairly high speed Ryzen 7 chip set and it works like a charm and is very fast. Total price was $933.00 inc. tax and shipping. It got to me in twenty-four hours and I took a lot of time to consider how I wanted to set it up. Did I need all the stuff on my other computers and I elected to keep the programs thinner in population as this laptop I will use for light gaming and heavy server work.

Thus far, three days later, it spins up faster than a bullet and is quicker than the old HP by a bit. If it continues to work as well as it is I will be quite happy with the choice. $500.00 saved means a lot to me and the way it functions is wonderful and the keyboard is backlit so I can see it well in all conditions. Give them a look: Nimo. Support at Nimo is quite excellent and caring and that is yet another consideration to think about if you’re in the market. 90 day trail on all purchases which is a goodly portion of my going with them.
